The new-four-story building is set back from Lyndale Avenue with landscaped green space along the avenue. The building itself features the highest quality construction and a modern design including a combination of masonry, brick and cement materials with masonry finishes. Most units have balconies or patios for more outdoor living space. Away from the traffic and noise of downtown, but close to the action, Lyndale Plaza offers an ideal balance in apartment living.
Team
The development team – St. Croix Real Estate, Michael Development and Collage Architects – worked closely with the city and neighborhood representatives to design a project that would enhance the area, attract new residents and offer new housing options not presently available. Stonebridge Construction, a builder with a long track record of successful multi-family construction, is the general contractor for the project. Together, the Lyndale Plaza team brings decades of experience and expertise in multi-family construction, development, design and financing.
Grant Funding – A Star Project
The project was awared a Metropolitan Livable Communities Act Grant from the Metropolitan Council and a transit oriented development grant from Hennepin County.
